This term in Science we are looking at Forces.


How would you find out who in your class has the best grip on their shoes.


What investigation could you carry out?
How would you measure the results?





Which of these shoes would be the best for walking in the snow? Why?


 

Chilly, Chilly, Chilly!

One of my favourite places in London looky very pretty in the snow.

I'd like you to be scientific researchers. Find out as much as you can about these forces:

Friction, Gravity, Air Resistance and Up Thrust (sometimes called water restistance). You can make a poster or fact file for our display to show your research.

Can you find out about Parables. What are they? What are they meant to do?

Challenge: Write your own Parable. 

I'd really like to put some of your writing on the RE wall.

Mathletics has been set for you.

First of all, may I say a HUGE thank you to you all for your amazing cards and gifts at Christmas. I don't think I'll have to buy chocolate or coffee for a LONG time!

I would also like to say thank you for showing compassion (one of our school values) over the past few weeks. You are truely awesome!

Most of you have already found a poem to recite of by heart, if you haven't, please make sure you find one by Monday. Here's another of my personal favourites...


IF you can keep your head when all about you 
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
