What do I like about my play script?
I like the way that the inspector randomly appears out of no-where and pulls the family up for their crimes.
What is the purpose of the stage directions?
The stage directions tell the actor where to go, what to do and how to say something. Without stage directions, the actor could say something sad in a happy voice!
A summary of my play script:
This play script is about an inspector who goes to a family in the West Midlands and tells them that they are responsible for someone committing suicide. The story goes on to tell us everything that each person did. This story has a twist in the end as well!

The purpose of stage directions is that it tells the actors what facial expressions and what they've got to do and where to stand without them the play would be a disaster.
